Bio of Edouard Cassal, EVOLVING President & CEO

–Swiss-French citizen, Edouard Cassal is graduated from the ESLSCA Business School in Paris, France and has completed the Executive European Leadership Development Series at IMD Lausanne, Switzerland and at Leadership Trust, UK, as well as the Marketing Master Class Program from Kellogg School of Management, US. Edouard is also Six-Sigma certified.

–Personally motivated by the optimization of profit, his career has developed in the international sales and marketing functions and into sectors such as chemical, petrochemical,  and science industry. He developed an extensive and diversified leadership experience in business management within multinational companies in Europe and in the US. 

–Edouard has over 25 years of successful experience in leading global strategic sales and marketing plans and activities:

  • –In 1990 he started his career in Sales at IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd and joined AMOCO Europe SA in 1994, which was then acquired by BP Inc. While at AMOCO he received the AMOCO Chairman’s award from CEO Laurence Fuller for his “Business Leadership and Performance” and then worked 3 years in Chicago for BP Inc

  • –In 2003 he joined the European HQ of DUPONT DE NEMOURS, where he was leading the global marketing activities for NOMEX® and KEVLAR® going into industrial applications. In 2008 he received the DUPONT CEO’s award from CEO Ellen Kullman for his “Marketing Leadership”. 

  • –After having joined LORD Corporation in 2010 as the head of the Energy Division in EMEA, he joined BOCCARD SA in 2013 as Executive Director, Sales & Marketing/Communication, in charge of the worldwide Sales & Marketing/Communication operations. 

  • End of 2017 he took over PROFESSIONAL CONSULTANT, a consulting, training and education services company founded in 1984 by his father Pierre Cassal, and changed the name to EVOLVING, a company now specialized in the expertise of  "Sales & Marketing Performance" still through consulting, training and education services.

–

As author of several “Customer-centric” marketing approaches, Edouard’s work is still posted as best practice reference documents on DUPONT’s Leading Growth Portal sponsored by Ellen Kullman, CEO, DUPONT Corporation.

–

Since 2014 he has been teaching a variety of advanced performance marketing classes at EM BUSINESS SCHOOL (Masters 2 - SDAI and SIMB2B) , at INSEEC Msc & MBA (Master 2 - Marketing Communication and Social Media), both located in Lyon, France, at Voltaire Business School (Executive MBA - Management & Innovation)  in Ferney-Voltaire, France, at YNOV Campus (Bachelor - International Marketing, e-Marketing) in Lyon, France and at DAUPHINE University (Master2 - Marketing & Strategy)  » in Paris, France.

–He is also mentoring and coaching several successful start-up companies selected by the EM Business School Incubator in Lyon, France.

 

Edouard has managed profit centers encompassing responsibilities in marketing-sales, product management, finance and in mobilizing people.

–Well exposed to the business community, his main satisfiers include creating value, business edge and delivering on demanding goals while emphasizing the development of reliability and trust.
